Looking for what the bright city lights keep from sight, the camera moves away from the city of Lima. Up in the sky it spots a condor and is guided by its ancient flight —as old if not older than the Inca people themselves. Eventually we travel to four communities that underwent centuries of denial and suffering and today continue to share the joy of building together. At a height of 3,700 meters, right in the middle of the Peruvian mountain range, the two banks of the Apurimac River, joined by an ancestral ritual, are connected nowadays thanks to the annual renovation of the last Inca suspension bridge, the Q’eswachaka, thus providing us with the opportunity to enjoy a unique sensory experience.
