In this sequel to a fairy tale comedy, the supernatural beings try to prevent their house of horrors FROM being reconstructed INTO an attractive villa. They count on the arrival of a Viennese notary who is to verify whether the fun park amusement is fulfilling its original purpose. The sequel to Cathy and the Ghosts picks up exactly where the first film left off. The haunted attraction from Vienna's Prater park, and with it a trio of ghosts, have moved to Cathy's grandmother's garden. We get to see the Prague Exhibition Grounds and the beauty of Vienna is replaced by the obligatory Prague city center. A little Golden Chapel can never hurt, right? One of the new features are the games of the eternally in-love Elvíra, who looks fantastic even in modern clothes. Since both films were later made into a series and were made into one, the quality certainly doesn’t fluctuate. Unfortunately, the series received even worse reviews than the two-part film.
