The Other Side of Paradise

Brazil, 1963. A 12 years old boy narrates the adventures of his father, an idealistic dreamer. The desire for a social ascension takes the family to move from interior of the country to the recently inaugurated capital Brasilia, but still with construction works in progress. Moved by the political turmoil of the period and by the reforms promised by former president Joao Goulart, Antonio stumbles into political activism and the unrest of workers.
