This drama about partisans in the Tatra Mountains plagued by a snowstorm follows a group of fighters who are forced to fall back. Some of them are wounded and wait for help, which is not coming. A movie where at times I had the feeling that it is almost like a documentary, that this is actually happening. The landscape is captured very well here, but the story and character development eventually become diluted and somehow expected, traditional; it couldn't captivate me and gradually my interest in their fate faded away.
