The view from moving trains shows wintery landscapes through windows that sometimes reflect the interior. The montage that drives this technical, experimental short automatically embraces the Detour. The filmmakers shot it with two Bolex cameras in the winter of 1981 during a tour of “New Experimental Films by Women” to eight West German art house cinemas. (Berlinale)
