englanti In addition to comedy, Now Apocalypse should have featured other genres or genre hybrids, like mystery sci-fi and romantic drama, though it's both a fact and a shame that neither of these categories work properly. The series depicts a number of explicitly sexual scenes that often have a wannabe humorous backdrop and interfere in various ways with the relationships between the characters, whose behaviour at times struck me as totally bonkers – I was most annoyed by the naive, whiny Ford and the incomprehensibly self-centered Jethro. Apart from the relationship line, I had perhaps too high expectations because of the alien plot, which practically disappeared in the middle of the series, only to reappear in a brief form at the very end. The idea was not bad, but everything kind of fizzled out during its execution. ()
