On the Road, Khaosan Tango

Korean web cartoonist Jiha wants to be a film director. He goes to Bangkok to gather information for a scenario based on a ghost story spread by travellers in Thailand. When he meets Haeyong at a guest house, he first suspects that she is the heroine of the travellers’ tale, but after he is robbed of all his possessions, he latches onto her. Their travels together allow Jiha to deal with unresolved inner scars. (Montreal World Film Festival)
