Unless Pedro Pascal is a narcissist who wants his face to appear in every shot, this must have been a dream job for him. Thanks to his costume, he had less opportunity to change his facial expression than IG-11, and if he didn't feel like acting, he could always ask someone from the crew to cover for him. But seriously, I quite enjoyed the first season, I was just annoyed that it was so similar to a lot of other series. The only thing that linked the individual episodes were the characters, and there was hardly any main plot apart from the last two episodes. It turned out to be a decent relaxing watch for a weekday afternoon, but with a little more effort it could have been turned into a real treat. 4*- (06.02.2020)

The show kicked off with a vibe straight out of Star Wars, but beyond that, it felt like diving into a classic video game adventure. You know the drill: hero gets a mission, completes it, and gets an upgrade — classic gaming stuff. The western at the end was a nice touch. (05.02.2020)

Well, here's the thing: I get that it's about alien planets and other forms of life, but when I imagined the fierce female rhinoceros laying eggs, I couldn't help but crack up. Anyway, the episode still worked pretty well despite not being the cornerstone of the story. Lesson learned? Watch out for metal collectors in all corners of the galaxy. (05.02.2020)

This is one of those easygoing shows that won't make you overthink, but still offers a good time. And you know what? That's totally fine by me. The main characters are hitting their stride (one kicks butt while the other is all about the intense stares and cutting remarks), and the story's picking up speed. The plot was a bit weak. Trying to do their own take on The Magnificent Seven with just two people? Not the best move. And that whole training session with the villagers? Come on. I'll admit, I was a bit too generous with the rating this time. Lesson learned. The fifth part just didn't do it for me. Pali and her service left me cold, and don't even get me started on that dim-witted Toro Calican. It all felt rather pointless, though thankfully it wasn't too drawn out. (05.02.2020)

The sixth episode put the series back on track. There's a satisfying amount of action, with the unnecessary chatter kept to a minimum, allowing the plot to flow smoothly. Thankfully, the creators managed to steer clear of the complete nonsense that plagued the previous episodes. (06.02.2020)

The main storyline has come full circle, and our hero has returned to the scene of the crime. This episode hits the mark, standing strong on its own while seamlessly weaving into the larger narrative. Things are shaping up nicely for the series finale. (06.02.2020)

I had higher hopes, I'll admit, but it didn't leave me too let down. I could do without the Spiderman-like showdown with a TIE fighter, and the skirmish between the stormtroopers and the defenders, but hey, it's all part of the ride. 4*- (06.02.2020)
