Aisha Badru - Mind on Fire

The music video explores the life of four real women each going through their day with a Mind on Fire. Aisha Badru, the singer, who spends a lot of time alone in hotel rooms while on tour. She constantly performs for small crowds at odd locations around the US. Judy Diaz who is an actual pool cleaner in Los Angeles, struggles to balance work and family as a single mother. She dreams of saving enough money to buy a home. Fatima Harmi loves skating and competed as a teenager. She has been fighting lupus for the past few years and is rarely well enough to skate. Then there is YahNé Ndgo, the political activist, who will always fight for those who don't have a voice. (South by Southwest Film Festival)
