An intimate look at a woman who left her life as a successful fashion designer and mother in Texas to become a reclusive hermit, immersed in nature, focused solely on creating art. We meet Ingrid in the lush, peaceful woods surrounding her home. Her shoes are sturdy, her hair is braided. This is a strong and self reliant woman. You would never guess she was once a successful fashion designer living in a big city. Not by the way she personally collects the giant stones that make up her home, and certainly not by how she impressively mixes her own cement. Director Morissa Maltz, through a beautifully quiet and subtle approach, captures this story of sacrifice and choices. What is the price you pay for the life you want? And is it worth it?
