A group of six close friends of varying nationalities pledge to reunite each year in a small riverside café in France to not only reminisce about the past but drink to the future. However, their disparate lives are suddenly thrust into great uncertainty as war ravages the landscape of Europe, creating a melting pot of desperation and despair.
