On the morning of his 40th birthday, Andrey wakes up depressed and despite his friend Maksim employing all the tried and tested methods of drink, football and girls to try to lift his spirits, nothing improves his state of mind. When a caretaker from a café tells Maksim the secret to finding happiness is, as the fable goes, to buy a goat and then to sell it, Maxim is determined to find a 'goat' for his friend. The goat takes the form of accident-prone Katya. Katya is well known with the emergency services as wherever she is disaster soon follows – gas stations explode, houses fall down and towns are flooded. Katya settles in easily at Andrey's place and he starts to care for her. However, when a drunken Maxim reveals Andrey's motive one night, Katya is offended and leaves. Andrey soon realizes that he cannot live without his little catastrophe and together with Maxim, they search all over town for her. When they hear about an explosion at an old factory, they known that Katya will be somehow caught up in it and sure enough, they find her covered in dirt among the ruins! Katya and Andrey are reunited and as for Maxim? He bumps into his own awkward girl on the street that very same afternoon! (Star Media)
