Had someone told me a while back that I'd thoroughly enjoy a Romanian TV series, I'd likely have recommended a head-banging therapy. Well, today, I owe that person an apology and a therapy bill. The first season's narrative immediately drew me in and refused to let go. It boasted a substantial plot, an engaging storyline that unfolded at a satisfying pace, a captivating atmosphere, and the added perk of sidestepping political correctness and its ridiculous quotas. / Lesson learned: For some professions, a guilty conscience is a liability.
