Forced to move back to his hometown of Windsor, Canada, wannabe comedian Moses Kim (Daniel Jun) finds his comedic ambitions derailed by his responsibilities to his wife and newborn child, along with the management of his parent’s restaurant. Life gets more complicated when Joon (Daniel Daegun Lee), an orange-haired teenage cousin from Korea, unexpectedly shows up. At first, Joon feels completely hopeless and a stranger in a strange land, but he is immediately noticed by the captain of the high school’s K-Pop dance club, as she is ecstatic to meet an actual Korean person from Korea! The roles are soon reversed when the Korean exchange student feels more at home than the actual dude who was born and raised in this backwater town. Moses and Joon reluctantly find a camaraderie as Moses becomes inspired to write some new comic material. Will he throw away his doldrum life and skirt responsibility for stand-up comedy dreams in Toronto? (Hawaii International Film Festival)
