Stunned by new revelations from her past, Emily intensifies her search for the truth. When Flynn inadvertently stumbles into her investigation, Emily is forced to make a decision between her son and her need for answers. Meanwhile, Alice returns to work as a grief counselor at Boston Mercy and develops a friendship Jack Byrne, who is an EMT working for the hospital. Tensions mount at the FBI as Nick and Julianne race to profile the Federal Annex terrorist while Special Agent Derek Crown chafes under pressure from the media and the “all-knowing” internet.
