Waco (2018) 

englanti The series as a whole is excellent with great acting performances. I had the advantage of being completely impartial and didn’t have to worry about taking sides. If there’s anyone I hate as much as the Big Brother, it’s all kinds of religious fanatics. Although the creators tried to approach the whole affair from both points of view, it seemed to me that they treated David Koresh somewhat benevolently. After all, he wasn’t just a harmless hippie but a major scumbag. ()

Visions and Omens (2018) (E01) 

englanti Despite being the introductory episode, I did not experience any slow start that I was somewhat worried about. During the action against Weaver, I got a decent dose of quality action, while David Koresh took care of the theological-philosophical window. I had no idea that I would be entertained by the drama to this extent, but the worst sniper in history got me, and the same happened to the incredibly devoted David, who took all the disgusting and unhygienic sex upon himself to save others. ()

The Strangers Across the Street (2018) (E02) 

englanti After the second episode, I remain satisfied and slightly surprised. I did not expect that the most positive character representing the voice of reason would be played by Michael Shannon, whom I have mostly seen in completely opposite roles. Based on the situation's development, I expect a lot of action in the next episode. ()

Operation Showtime (2018) (E03) 

englanti The third episode picked up a good pace and I couldn't find a moment to get bored. The clash between misguided theology and the only true world democracy turned out as I expected. Although I can't stand religious fanatics, I caught myself cheering for some lunatics against government aggression, which unsettled me, and that rarely happens, so five points. ()

Of Milk and Men (2018) (E04) 

englanti The events from the previous episode practically disappeared, and surprisingly, I didn't mind at all because I enjoyed watching the efforts to find a way of communication between the two sides of the conflict, each living in a different world. While the Branch Davidians were more focused on a spiritual state of weightlessness, the FBI firmly stood on the ground, and understandably so, tanks have a hard time reaching the spiritual realm. ()

Stalling for Time (2018) (E05) 

englanti The fifth episode was very similar to the previous one, Gary Noesner was still trying the impossible - to make both sides try to understand each other. If in my comment on the third episode I mentioned sympathizing with some members of the cult, now I can say with relief that I no longer feel that way. ()

Day 51 (2018) (E06) 

englanti To the already high-quality plot, there was added a skillfully executed action, so the final episode definitely did not disappoint me, even though I obviously knew how everything would turn out, the details were harsh. I appreciate that David Koresh ended his existence as a true leader, only the bunker was missing. ()
