Alanis Obomsawin's first short film is a tender journey through Moose Factory, a small town of 1,500 Cree on the shores of James Bay. The short is composed of art by the town's youth (as well as some still photography), and Obomsawin captures the community as Christmas approaches by asking the kids to "speak through their drawings." (Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival)
