MILLIE examines herself critically in the mirror. Her morning routine. Gripped in a passionless marriage, Millie applies every trick to reignite the romance, leading her to purchase an untested product. Applying the cream to her face, Millie's skin begins to peel away. GREG returns home from the monotony of work to find Millie cowering in the corner. She looks up, her appearance completely altered. A new lease of passion returns and yet, a question begins to arise. What is the perfect form? Enraptured by her ability to change, Millie becomes obsessed, pulling apart her old self in pursuit of perfection. Empowered by her change in appearance, Millie begins to loose her grip on reality. With Greg unnerved by every trip home, the fantasy becomes a nightmare. Through this progression, a shift in power begins to form. Millie frees her need for Greg's acknowledgment leading Greg to strive for hers. Climaxing in an argument, Greg takes a final stand, pulling away at Millie's face in search of his wife. But can he find her? (Nashville Film Festival)
