When inexperienced kids start dating, there’s bound to be some different interpretations of the romantic learning curve. Thrown into an array of awkward situations, they’ll each discover what it means to let their emotions get the better of them. Whether it’s pubescent cluelessness, social paranoia, or just a silly misunderstanding, finding ways to contradict their feelings just comes naturally. (FUNimation)

englanti Anime that is basically just about a group of high school students trying to confess their love to each other? It may sound like corny nonsense, but my final impression of the show was surprisingly positive. The series is primarily a parody that successfully tackles various love story tropes found in manga and anime for teenage audiences, making it very entertaining. However, it also touches on serious themes, and the anime's producers do a good job of balancing both elements in such a short run time. The only major issue is the large number of characters featured in just twelve twelve-minute segments, which means not all characters receive equal screen time. If the producers had cut down the screentime involving the minor characters a little and focused on the more significant ones, the show would have been even better since all the major characters are engaging and entertaining. Overall, Tsuredure Children is an enjoyable standalone anime that's perfect for a bad day. My personal favorite couple was Takeru Goda and Ayaka Kamine. ()

englanti If someone had told me before the summer releases that one of the best things would have been this short romantic comedy with too many characters in the first episode for such a short anime series, I would never have believed them. However, it is true! Tsuredure Children is sweet, funny, enjoyable, and likable. There is probably a couple in the show for everyone to like and their love affairs. Personally speaking, I found Takuro Sugawara and Chizuru Takano the best, even though I also found the other couples interesting. I thought all of them were original and well-matched. If the chemistry works in a romantic comedy, you are able to believe in even the strangest of storylines and enjoy the characters' interactions with each other; then it is simply a winner. Everything works without the slightest problem in this show, and the humor makes it pleasantly light-hearted. The animation looks quite endearing, and even though it is pretty simple, in my opinion, it is not a bad thing; it serves its purpose, and it suits this likable rom-com. In other words, this is how I think a nice summer movie should be, where you can have fun and relax, even though it just did not seem enough in the end. 8.4/10. ()

englanti By a hair. I like how it takes all the clichés of the genre and works with them in its own way. I realize that some viewers may take a while to come around to the filmmakers' game, but as long as it doesn’t give you swift pain and you just take it as a hilarious self-reflection of the Shōjo genre, you will simply enjoy it. Plus, the running time and the formats make it go by briskly. The only downside may be that it's a little harder to navigate the characters. Who's who? Is he the one who professed his undying love? Is she the one who sent the text message? Is he the one who keeps asking if she wants to poop? Hey, it's senpai! You can always recognize that dude, he’s the blond one. A weaker 4 stars. ()
