Making of: The Tree

In this documentary, we explore the technique used by Lucie Sunková to make her authorial and commissioned films. The paint-on-glass technique animates slow-drying oil paints on multi-layered sheets of glass directly in front of the camera and is known for being extremely demanding. The documentary focuses on the making of the director's latest film, the 2015 Czech-French co-production The Tree. (Anifilm)
