The Mouhoun Loop marks a sort of frontier between the Sahel desert and tropical Africa. It is included in humanitarian programs sent to the Sahel, but is a sort of Eldorado to which successive waves of migrants have flocked from the sands in the North when droughts were too harsh. Here, the land belongs to no one. It is attributed to anyone that asks for it by the "Land Chief". The first immigrants arrived in Daboura in the 1940s... (jakelijan virallinen teksti)
