The Life of Flowers

How can a random friendship forever influence a life and relation to the world? The answer is contemplated in the story of young Maja from Bosnia and Austin, an English teacher who is facing possible deportation back to the USA. They try to solve Austin's situation together, and while running around authorities, embassies and bars, a relationship begins to blossom between them. The third main character of the fragile micro-drama about dismantling cultural barriers is the city of Sarajevo itself. (Febiofest)
