12 ER doctors on duty for a population of 430,000. Doctors spend about three minutes on each patient (not if you're dying!) Patients go home, waiting to die, as they're not able to afford the treatment. This is part of the day-to-day life of this small-town hospital in eastern China - one of thousands of Chinese hospitals where doctors and patients are paying the price for a broken healthcare system.
