Hortensia

Already in her early 20s Hortensia has to deal with three major shocks: first she loses her job, then her father gets an electric shock opening the fridge and dies and then, to cap it all, the same night she catches her boyfriend in bed with her best friend. She despairs at the world and then discovers a note she wrote as a 14-year old about ways to happiness. One says: find a blonde young man. Another: design the most beautiful shoes in the world. Hope returns to Hortensia and she sets out on a wonderfully turbulent search for happiness. (Filmfest Hamburg)
