englanti I was very skeptical of the series because the last time I saw Seong-kyeong Lee was in a role where I found her almost unbearable (Cheese in the Trap). So when she came at me here with her goofy walk, squeamishness, and overall demeanor that drove me out of my mind, I had to take a break from her for a few weeks. Then when I came back to the series, her counterpart, Joo-hyeok Nam, started to take center stage for me. And the more he fell in love with her, the more I liked her. I have to admit, the progression of her character was incredible and she's come a really long way. With this Seong-kyeong has convinced me of her range and I look forward to coming across a role where she suits me from start to finish. I do have one minor reservation about the series. Although I really liked the script, there were too many health issues and subplots for me (but so be it, the sports setting). In the end, though, I got a nice, warm feeling from the series, and when I replay key moments, I'm moved. It had depth, one of the most beautiful getting-to-know you sequences, and it was nice to take a break from Korean perfection for a while. A stronger 4 stars. ()

englanti I wasn't at all impressed at first and it also took me a long time to get used to all the fussing, screaming, and snotty blubbering. What’s more, I don't like the actor Jae-yoon Lee, so when he became the love object of the heroine, it completely turned me off. Maybe it's because he was playing a good guy with an angular face again, a boring character with nothing interesting about him, which is why I was so hoping he would quickly drop out of the scene because he bored me. But from about episode eleven onwards it all broke and I started to like it and enjoy it. There were things here and there that I didn't like, but in the end I walked away from the series feeling like it wasn't wasted time, and the ending was very sweet. I especially liked that they didn't make a huge fuss over it when somebody had something with someone else, but just had the two of them teasing each other for a while and then it was quiet. Finally, relationships were seen as something natural and not something to be forbidden. Oh, and Joo-hyuk Nam's cheerful face is just such a nice sweet bonus. Just to add, at the beginning I was quite taken by the character of Shi Ho, who I found the most interesting with her agenda and problems, but towards the end she got completely swept out of the way, but at least I could get to the twist where I was hooked. A strong 3 stars. ()
