Adrián Doria (Mario Casas) on nuori liikemies uransa huipulla. Eräänä aamuna nuorukainen herää hotellihuoneessa, joka on lukittu sisäpuolelta. Adriánin vierellä on hänen kuollut rakastajattarensa, Laura. Adriánilla ei ole alibia, ei mitään selitystä, joka vapauttaisi hänet rikosepäilystä. Niinpä hän palkkaa avukseen huippuasianajaja Virginia Goodmanin. Yhden tuskallisen yön aikana he yrittävät yhdessä selvittää, mitä tapahtui. Alkaa kaikkia logiikan lakeja uhmaava, hurja kilpajuoksu aikaa vastaan. (Future film)

englanti I’m not afraid to say that the Spanish amazingly build up a premise based on one murder in this movie. The director plays with you. He lets the main suspect tell you the whole story only to throw in the thoughts of the second suspect. When you are totally confused the lawyer throws in her bit. And when you forget to breathe and your pulse is irregular the ending totally throws you off and it is one of those endings which you will never forget. I don’t know about the other viewers, but as for me, this movie got to my list of the best thrillers I’ve ever seen. Let me bow down before the creators. ()

englanti I wonder how many more times I'll enjoy seeing Mario Casas in roles like this, but since he's so damn good at it, I'll probably be able to handle a few more. As usual with this writer/director, he delivers a convoluted spectacle in which nothing is as it seems. Once again, the characters are well cast, the plots are unpredictable, and all the twists and turns make sense. There may have been too many of them for me towards the end, and it did seem a bit overdone, but overall my enthusiasm still prevails. ()

englanti By the end, when you think about what you've seen, you will realize it’s nothing more than a dozen crime stories in front of you. However, you will admire the delivery of it, the way the script plays with you and how thoroughly it confuses you. A little Agatha Christie, a little Hitchcock, sly fun... And perhaps a little longer than necessary. ()

englanti What could have just been an artificially contrived, lifeless pun ends up working very well thanks to some skillful work with subjective perspective (which I'd like to watch again sometime, even though, rather than logical and ingenious, I just found it fun to watch). At the same time, however, I fear that on a second screening with full knowledge of the plot, it will lose much of its effectiveness and will remain "just" a playful and dynamic Spanish variation on Hercule Poirot about a sophisticated interrogation. At first, however, satisfaction prevails, because Oriol Paolo unfolds the whole thing in such a way that the viewer, furiously guessing the possible outcome, will feel satisfaction at the end from the way the film has taken them for a ride without making a fool of them. 80 % ()

englanti Although the conclusion seemed incredibly far-fetched, I was thoroughly satisfied. The story featured more loops, rolls and spins than you get to see performed in aerial acrobatics, It was fast-paced, and I almost perversely enjoyed watching the characters delve into all those individual possible truths. 4*+ ()
