The finale left me feeling quite disappointed. There were just too many moments that didn't quite make sense. Plus, I could have done without that melodramatic dialogue. However, I have to admit, Detective Dixon's over-enthusiasm, especially her desire to have a human head hanging above the fireplace, provided some much-needed amusement.
