Lady Mae visits her famous friend, Pastor Maxine Patterson, who suggests Mae take Calvary over from the Bishop. Mae and Bishop present a unified front to Clara Jackson at a party for the Round Table so they can secure her check for the IRS. Later, reeling from Mae's acceptance of the divorce, Bishop invites his friend Percy to the party and makes one last plea to his wife, proclaiming his love for Mae in a beautiful speech. Rochelle enters and claims to be in love with the Bishop, who asks her to leave. Rochelle departs, but first tells Clara to be careful of those Greenleafs. Clara goes to Lady Mae and backtracks on the check, leading Mae to double down on the divorce. Connie asks if Grace is interested in running Calvary if things get worse between her parents. Sophia fights with Zora after catching her contacting Isaiah from her laptop. Jacob and Kerissa send Zora to live with Mae for some tough love.
