The Comedy and Tragedy of Bora Joksimovic

After leaving Germany, Zilnik returns to Yugoslavia and carves out a niche for himself on TV. In the beginning he was allowed to work in a comedy department. The director portrays an amateur writer, a heating maintenance mechanic in the Zrenjanin theatre who decides to try his luck as a playwright. Zilnik named a number of his films after their main characters, as though compiling a pantheon of his own. (Mar del Plata International Film Festival)
