Giorgia Cecere's second feature film is a low-key, beautiful everyday account of a woman's life and gradual liberation. Lucia is married to Andrea since way back and fully focused on their son and her work at a flower shop. Her life is turned upside down when it turns out that Andrea has deceived her. Lucia is forced to take a long, hard look at herself and everything she has built her life around. When she meets Ahmed, a street vendor from north Africa, her world is shook up even more. Lucia is faced with new options and ethical dilemmas. Isabella Ragonese in the lead role puts in a nuanced interpretation in this delicate drama. (Göteborg Film Festival)
