The third season didn't quite hit the mark for me this time, and I've pinpointed why. Shay's exit felt almost seamless and understated, but Todd's drawn-out demise felt like it belonged in a whole different series. The endless sobbing around his bedside didn't resonate with me at all; instead, it just dragged down the story's momentum. 3*-
