Ex-maid of honor Eloise - having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text - decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend's wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the "random" table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets. As everyone's secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19. Friendships - and even a little romance - can happen under the most unlikely circumstances. You'd think it would be an interesting comedy, mainly because of the cast, but it ends up being quite bittersweet. That’s not a bad thing. But then the filmmakers decided to destroy everything by delivering an ending as stupid as any I’ve seen in a long time. When in doubt, resort to clichés and worn-out Hollywood recipes.

The only reason I watched this movie was Anna Kendrick. In the end she was the only reason I finished the movie. An inoffensive small-scale movie from the world of the American drama.
