An original crossover of a boyish adventure seen through the eyes of children and a brutal adult thriller full of blood and corpses, Cop Car is an interestingly bizarre and thrilling indie minimalist film with an unpredictable storyline.

An unexpected genre mix. Boys’ adventure movie meets redneck psycho thriller. Bacon pretty minimalistic, but the boy duo is super. The action is a bit slow, and the ending is unexpectedly pessimistic. Very bold project, hats off.

I'm not completely sold on this movie, but I still think it's a successful thriller, mainly thanks to two young boys who handled their roles exceptionally well. Similarly, Kevin Bacon, who appears as a truly great lunatic, also performs his role very well. The story is presented well enough that it doesn't bore even at a slower pace.
