About the plot, there is practically nothing to be said in the case of Quiet Days in Clichy; the story, unless strong, is absent, however, Chabrol's film is a strong portrayal of the atmosphere of the decadent environment of Parisian brothels and shantytowns of the 1930s, local bohemians and the revelry of the cream of society. Erotic films usually aren't worth much, either in terms of direction or casting, in this case, we can see leading European actresses in nude scenes with erotic content. Overall impression: 70 %.
