František, můj táta

Laura is deaf and longs to find her biological father. She sets out on a journey filled with adventure and a quest for the knowledge of things. The story is inspired by actual events. At her younger brother's birthday party, Laura demands that her mother tell her who her real father is. Her mom is silent. Laura is old enough and wants to know the truth. Her grandmother tells her. Laura sets out to places where her father might be. She's helpless, loses her last clues and evidence and has nowhere to sleep. The forest becomes her companion and comforter. On her last legs, her real dad František appears. The two of them must get to know each and communicate somehow. (Zlín Film Festival)
