When smiles turn to frowns it's a tough task to put the fun back on track. Across the USA, amusement parks are suffering a dip in fortune. Struggling with dilapidated rides and poor marketing, these thrill zones are trapped in a vicious circle of declining sales and underinvestment – yet on a mission to bring back the glory days is amusement park expert Chris Perry. Determined to revive a former hotspot with a historic wooden rollercoaster, his team visits Conneaut Lake Park and its manager Lenny Adams. Lenny's a repair guy rather than a salesman and struggles to see Chris's vision – but with plans for a new haunted house, a fresh look and a grand reopening, can Chris convince Lenny to roll with it?
