Ava's Possessions

A pleasant and original take on the topic of possession, which doesn’t end with the exorcism, but actually starts there. It’s a pity that the script doesn’t develop somewhat more interesting things, because objectively, it’s not scary, or tense, or even funny. But I still had quite some fun, maybe thanks to the nice visuals. It has style, which counts. (05.03.2016)

The film definitely has an original concept, which is not often the case with films that focus on exorcism. Most of the time, it follows the template set by The Exorcist. Here, however, the creators tried to be inventive and it worked. At least at first. Unfortunately, the movie doesn't have such a good drive and it's not as good as the beginning promised. Still, it manages to play with the viewer quite well. (27.04.2016)
