Der Letzte Gast

Karl is 65 years old. 35 years ago he took over Halle's oldest pub from his father. His great grandfather had opened it in 1907. On Dec. 30th 2004 Karl had to close it after almost 100 years. The film accompanies Karl and his most regular guests during the last weeks before the closing. It's an emotional journey into the microcosm of a close community. (42film)
