The only saving grace that prevented me from rating this lower was the film noir ambiance, a genre I'm rather partial to. However, I'm baffled by what's happened to the creators this season. The first half left a much stronger impression on me. Now, the plot feels sluggish and uninspired, with contrived twists that weigh it down. I'm apprehensive about what the last three episodes have in store.
