Suffragette

Suffragette is, unfortunately, a very important film. Fortunately, Suffragette is backed by a trio of big names - Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, and Meryl Streep - and so at least thanks to them the film has a chance to fight its way to get noticed. However, we live in a time when many people have gone through primary school and have never heard of suffragettes. Women's suffrage is taken for granted by many women, who are unaware that "little things" such as their other rights, whether they concern children or property, are not automatically a given. After a very difficult 20th century, it is indeed painful to live in today's times, in which people do not know their roots, neither in the individual nor in the main course of things, deeds and actions. Suffragette is not a pleasant watch, but it is very important to think about what you see here. (28.04.2019)

I like the fact that these films show the hard times of humanity. It's also quite well acted, though the history here is a bit more important than the individual. The masses win here, which is a bit of the film's fault. But what's stranger is the fact that films like this are still relevant because inequality in society still exists and it doesn't matter if it's male and female, white and black, and Christian and Muslim - it's just there and it's impossible to get rid of it.
