Life in the nursing home in a Polish village has always been peaceful. The rustling forest and singing birds are the only sounds wafting through the open windows. Civilisation is out of sight. Sunday is special because it's visiting day! The men shave and put on a fresh shirt and the women dress in their Sunday best. From the morning onwards, everyone looks out to the driveway to see if their loved ones' car will appear. This short documentary by director Matěj Bobřík proves that images without words can express everything vital. (One World)
