What happens when a film crew heads to East Africa to shoot a documentary about piracy, which since 1995 has been rampant in the seas off the Somali coast? Instead of talking with real pirates, the filmmakers become entangled in the lies and deceptions prepared for them by local informants "certified" by foreign journalists. During their African journey, they finally discover that for some Somalis the sale of pirate stories has become a successful business. This film about another kind of piracy features original music by Midi Lidi. (One World)
