Desire is dangerous and this film manages to show it quite well in an interesting historical context. Moreover, those Asian girls are truly beautiful here. It's not exactly an erotic film, but it's not far from it either. Maybe there's a bit too much sex in it at times, and sometimes it's unnecessary, but who would mind that?
