englanti I’ll be honest here. This movie was a pleasant surprise. I started to watch it while keeping in mind that I didn’t laugh much at the first instalment, plus the premise itself is bullshit, so I thought it’d be nothing but a way to kill some time before going to bed. However, I was very surprised because the movie turned out to be a great fun. Maybe it’s a proof that you have to be in the right mood for watching comedies with this type of humor. Or that this humor is an acquired taste; it’s hard to tell. In this particular movie, I found the humor exactly to my tastes. It was properly vulgar and nerdy in the right kind of way that makes you laugh your head off if you get the reference. And the Czech dubbing is also very good. So when you take all of this into account, I must say that I haven’t laughed so hard in a while. ()

englanti Certainly weaker than part one, but MacFarlane brings us lots of ingenious gags again. In terms of story, this has turned into a morality piece about humanity with a classic romantic plot line and tons of toilet humor. It lacks a moment of surprise. ()

englanti The second part not only breaks down the imaginary expressive embargo, with the crude humour full of boorish sexual innuendos having lost all self control, but also the story itself, which, especially in the first half, imaginatively and humorously deals with many political and moral trends of today, stops working at times and by the end it’s clearly out of steam, and McFarlane, as usual, starts to rely only on a bunch of references towards popular and important films, some of which are admittedly brilliant (Jurassic Park), but are not enough on their own to support a full-fledged cinematic story. Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun, I mostly didn't mind the harsher dialogues and situations beyond the edge of bearability, and the trio of main characters became firmly attached to my heart again, because, let's face it, if I skipped smoking and drugs, I'd get along with such a cuddly toy as well as the great Marky Mark – and I'm really not ashamed of to admit it. 80% ()

englanti I was quite afraid of it, but in the end, I just stared, amazed at how funny it still is. Yes, there will be people who won't like it, but that's just Seth's humor. There are weak points, especially the relationship with Tami-Lynn didn't really entertain me, it was terribly cliché, but Ted and Mark Wahlberg make a great duo and Amanda emphasized that. Some scenes completely cracked me up, and my laughter infected other people in the cinema. Or maybe they were just laughing at me... ()

englanti Surprising progress compared to number one, which unfortunately had many dull moments and, overall, was rather half-baked with a lot of wasted potential. The second instalment is better in many ways. MacFarlane seems to have matured as a director and made a movie that is surprisingly fast-paced, reducing weaker moments to a minimum. I had more laughs than with the first one and some scenes literally had me rolling on the floor laughing (special mention goes to the perfectly ruined improv comedy show, taking black humor in a Hollywood movie to a whole other level).
