I was expecting a controversial biographical drama, but I was a little confused by the label that it is a television movie. After all, when it comes to filmmaking, television is very conservative. It turned out to be what I expected. The life of Anna Nicole Smith is described averagely, sometimes quite boring, and here it is not so fundamentally captured why she became such a "celebrity". This is just a story about a girl who maybe couldn't even help what she became. It's as if controversy was forbidden. The film is sometimes overly beautiful, there is nothing really repulsive here. The visuals ruin it all and turn it into a spectacle, which this film certainly is not.
