Innocent Lies

The episode Pod hladinou features an acting concert by the Geislerová sisters and Kolářová, and an excellent probe into motherhood from many perspectives, supported by the classic element of Luknár's uncompromising acting. It's true, Czech women still have to look beyond the borders for real men. The episode Lež má rozbité auto is on the whole an endearing comic romance, perhaps the first Dyk role in which he didn't act better than his acting partners. In the context of comedic exaggeration, one can also accept the storyline with Jitka Čvančarová and her adorable assets. The episode Druhý dech was supposed to be simply amazing in terms of how realistic it is, but unfortunately, the final social utopia and economic suicide without consequence somewhat undercut it. The episode Hvězdička is, unfortunately, weaker. Similar media phenomena are not very good for the Czech environment and are very unbelievable. And in combination with Suchoš and Voříšková, the whole thing is a total flop. For a change, the episode Klukovina works with numerous positives, though as a whole it fails to impress. Nevertheless, it does have a theme, and some of the individual characters are also good (Liška's usurper father), but it's really quite filled with schematism and coincidences. The episode Chromozom is fantastic and has the potential to become a cult classic. Tereza Brodská's lesbian is one of the best characters she has ever created, the story is topical and builds, and the supporting roles (Kubařová) are well cast. However, I will probably never understand Čermák. This is supposed to be a superman? I don't think so. Regardless, it’s the best episode of the first season. The episode Čistá práce is without a doubt about the subject of raw reality. Yes, unfortunately, that's how it goes. Wanting change is about as naive as wanting to solve the Romani question. Episode Byl lásky čas - in contrast, the whole first season culminates in an ironic comedy of three great ladies - Janžurová, Freimanová, and Havlová. It's not about superficial laughter, but all situations in life can be experienced with a smile on our faces if we give our surroundings the space to do so. (09.01.2019)

The episode Zrádce was simply breathtaking. That's how it's done. Strangely enough, the episode also handled Hádek's acting mannerisms perfectly. Sparta! The episode Vedlejší příznaky is afflicted by the extreme dogmatism of some women who, in their desire for meaningless functioning, tend to fall into hell. Do you want the perfect family? Yes, so kindly forget about three careers in one, a happy family can only work if the mother is doing fine. The episode Na dně skleničky is a perfect probe into the soul of an alcoholic with polished details in every way. Daniel's adorable etudes complement the mature and pregnant Vlasáková and Majer's absolute ego. And have I already gushed over the Polášek etude? Just a bit more! It may hurt some people to watch the episode Moje pravda, but that's the whole point. If we let ourselves be dragged along, we must not be surprised that we become victims. Preissová is excellent. Episode Hra. To finish off comes another virtual reality story, this time more realistic and better functioning than the episode Hvězdička. There are many appeals, but first and foremost is the one for parents - share your children’s hobbies with them, or you will have no chance of preventing a tragedy. Free cycles that are up to par are a way to eradicate garbage quality. (09.01.2019)
