Beirut Hotel

After a singing gig in Beirut, attractive Lebanese singer Zoha meets her friend for drinks at a bar. She is eyed by a man named Mathieu with whom she begins a brief but intense love story. They both have secrets: she is trying to flee from her husband and he finds himself involved in crime and politics. An old acquaintance asks Mathieu for a favor: he has information on Lebanese premier Rafik Hariri’s assassination and wants to sell what he knows to the French for a visa out. Suddenly, Mathieu finds himself followed, situation that affects his relationship with Zoha and endangers his life. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)
