White Christmas

I would compare the first two episodes to a confused shuffle of cards, where the only interesting thing is that no one knows who is shuffling them. I didn't start having fun until the cards were dealt to the table. It wasn't until then that the first episodes suddenly started making sense to me. Once you start playing, the tension builds considerably. We get to the deepest core of all the characters, the puzzle begins to fall into place, yet everyone is drowning in uncertainty. As the game draws to a close, you can't even breathe... It's brilliant in its own way. But I need to see it at least one more time to fully understand it. (12.12.2012)

It was suspenseful, full of snow and interesting characters that had color but not too much. A dark quintessential detective story and – the part I appreciate, since it was made by Koreans after all – with a length that suits it exactly. Had it been longer, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. It's nicely paced, good tempo, and it leaves you in suspense. Are you sick of comedies but want something Korean and more like a serial?
