I recently watched Waco, and I enjoyed it because it had this atmosphere, this vibe, you know? And that's exactly what was missing from this episode of Homeland. Don't get me wrong, the creators made an effort. They tried to spice things up with that classic commander-making-bad-decisions trope, threw in a botched evacuation of women and children to tug at the heartstrings. But for some reason, it just didn't click for me. It's just Americans fighting one another...
