The film uses a mixture of documentary material and fictional monologues to portray the lives of children and young people in Kosovo, where they earn a living selling cigarettes on the streets of the battle-scarred city of Priština. The children do not use their own words for what they want to say in public before the rolling camera. Nevertheless their well-formulated, almost literary monologues reveal the grief and the pain that informs their existence. (Berlinale)
